The Cart House is situated on the lower floor of a very beautiful barn conversion.

The main room is open plan with an oak floor. It has a kitchen area with side-opening oven, hob with front controls, microwave and a dishwasher, a sitting area with TV and DVD player and a dining area which seats four. There is a large bedroom with a 5 ft double bed and sufficient room for a bed or cot for a child up to the age of around seven. There is a spacious shower room with a "wet-room" type shower.

A washing machine, tumble drier, large sink and drying facilities are provided in a separate laundry room. An iron and ironing board are available on request.

The views are mainly easterly, up Castleton Rigg. The garden is fenced or walled on three sides, there is a picnic table on the patio and the use of a gas barbecue.

The Carthouse has not yet been assessed, but we believe it should be graded as "M3 Assisted".
